During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself at the frontline of the healthcare crisis, working tirelessly as an Anesthesiologist Assistant. The overwhelming stress and emotional toll of my job pushed me to seek a way to restore balance in my life. That's when I turned to gardening as a mindfulness practice—a way to reconnect with nature and find solace amidst the chaos.
As I spent more time in the garden, I began to witness the incredible benefits of growing my own food. I noticed how the nutrient-dense produce I harvested not only nourished my body but also fueled my friends and family with wholesome, healthy meals. This personal journey opened my eyes to the significant impact nutrition has on our overall well-being.
In my role as a healthcare worker, I frequently encounter medical issues related to poor nutrition and lack of actibity. The connection between diet and health became even more apparent as I delved deeper into gardening. I realized that by cultivating my own garden, I could take control of what we consumed, ensuring it was fresh, organic, and bursting with essential nutrients.
Driven by a passion for wellness and a desire to share the transformative power of gardening, I founded Planted Prayer Garden Consulting. My mission is to help others discover their green thumb and grow their own produce, fostering a healthier lifestyle and a deeper connection to the earth. Through garden consultations, installations, coaching services, and workshops, I aim to empower individuals to cultivate their own gardens, nourish their bodies, and nurture their souls.
Planted Prayer Garden Consulting is more than just a business; it's a testament to the healing power of nature and the importance of nutrition. I believe that everyone has the potential to grow their own food and experience the joy and satisfaction that comes with it. Together, we can sow the seeds of health and well-being, one garden at a time.
